In order to access the full application, please take the Candidate Eligibility Quiz (click here). You can also view a list of eligibility requirements here

2. Full Application

After confirming that you are eligible for the Fellowship, you will receive a link with the full LFA application. This application includes standard materials (e.g. resume) as well as several short-response questions. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so you will notified if you are moving forward within 1-2 weeks of your submission.

  • 15-minute Call

If you are selected to move forward, you will be asked to schedule a 15 minute phone call before your interview. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the Fellowship and for LFA to get to know you better.

3. Finalist Interview

If selected to advance, candidates become "Finalists". Within two weeks of becoming a Finalist, Finalists will join a 45 minute interview with a panel of LFA staff, alumni, and partners.

  • Optional Nominations

Prior to the Finalist Interview, candidates have the option to submit up to three (3) nominations that highlight their desire to become an LFA Fellow. These nominations must be submitted before your Finalist Interview. Learn more here.

4. Host Matching

As an Endorsed Finalist, you have been selected by LFA to become a Fellow with the 2022 cohort pending a successful host match! We then work with you to identify and contact at least three potential host organizations in your community. For each interested host organization, LFA and the Endorsed Finalist will work to:

  1. Build/confirm a project scope

  2. Secure funding

Once a host organization has been confirmed, you will officially be named an LFA Fellow. Overall, this is an entrepreneurial process that offers Endorsed Finalists the benefit and opportunity to be partners in co-creating their fellowship experience.
